handling customer complaints ensuring customers are satisfied and the cause of the complaint is addressed
responding to all customer enquiries regarding presales, orders, delivery, payment, sales days and product information effectively. Via digital channels such as live chat, email, social media, telephone or letter
working collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure, where possible, a first time resolution
assist the Auctions Operations Team with pre and post auction which includes taking payments
Requirements
an understanding of the lay-out of business correspondence and forms of address and can apply them appropriately
grammar, punctuation, spelling and paragraph-style are a natural skill as is an individual, professional style and confidence to write responses
experience processing orders, payments and arranging deliveries is advantageous
previous customer service or administration experience would be advantageous
IT competence, to include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, outlook, CRM systems and social media
A proven track record of excellent communication, concise, logical and positive. Is amiable confident and competent. Engages the customers and gains their confidence, conversing naturally and sincerely

also possesses an understanding of the subtle differences between e-mail and white-mail contact and the relevant formalities /informalities relating to both styles
