Responsibility
- lead and manage all aspects of the bar/restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administration
- ensure the highest standards of service, quality, cleanliness, and overall customer satisfaction are met and maintained
- recruit, train, and mentor a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
- monitor and control costs, including inventory, labor, and expenses, while maintaining high-quality standards
- collaborate with the executive team to develop marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract and retain customers
- maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
Requirements
- experience as a General Manager or in a similar senior role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar/restaurant setting
- excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- exceptional organisational, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and stakeholders at all levels
- comprehensive knowledge of bar and restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administration
- familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulations
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
