Our goal is to be thee Up and coming bar/restaurant/event destination.Our work environment includes:Relaxed atmosphereCompany perksFlexible working hoursWe are seeking a Sous Chef with a high standard of culinary ability and an eye for detail. The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for creating new and exciting dishes. The Sous Chef must be able to work well with others, be able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational skills. This is a fast-paced environment where the right person will need to be flexible and display great multitasking abilities, as well as the ability to prioritize work without being bogged down by details.Responsibilities:Maintain kitchen supplies.Manage kitchen staff.Communicate with other kitchen staff and with management.Maintain kitchen's cleanliness and order.Create food menu and specials using freshest ingredients available.Work with vendors to ensure quality of food items is consistent and meets a high standard.Manage the dining room staff and ensure that service in the dining room is at the highest level possible.Conduct inventory on food and kitchen supplies.Knowledge of computerized point-of-sale systems.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 16-30 per weekSalary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionCycle to work schemeDiscounted or free foodOn-site parkingSchedule:10 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeTipsAbility to commute/relocate:Bangor, BT19 6LG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Exp
