Responsibility
- to keep the café service running smoothly whilst ensuring food is prepared on time and is of high quality
- to provide exemplary customer service when dealing with visitors and all customer enquiries
- responsibility for accurate stock control and rotation including monthly stock takes
- responsibility for daily food purchasing
- ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained on site at all times – particularly cleaning
- any other duties as directed by the General Manager
- to work alongside the Head Chef with the day to day running of the Tree of Life Café in the kitchen as well as front of house
Requirements
- previous experience of effectively leading & managing staff
- great interpersonal skills and customer service
- quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- great enthusiasm & initiative
- great organisational & time management skills
- ability to follow direction from Management
- to be approachable and calm in all situations
- a busy cafe and kitchen environment: 3 years
