Responsibility
- st Michael and All Angels is a busy parish church in West London
- the Church hosts two Festivals each year – The Bedford Park Festival in June and The Chiswick Book Festival in September
- there will also be some cleaning and minor maintenance
- when not in use for worship, the church is available for hire by local orchestras for concerts and charity groups for events
- the halls are used as classrooms by two local schools during term time and hired out for parties and receptions at the weekends
- one new caretaker is required at evenings and weekends - You would join our existing team of three which allows us to always have a caretaker on site when the church and halls are in use
- duties include locking and unlocking, welcoming users to the premises, being on site during events to assist hirers with any furniture and equipment they might need; and assisting the organisers and volunteers of the two festivals
- operating heating and lighting systems; working at height compliant with current health and safety regulations
