Responsibility
- safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- supporting the finance department in accordance with the school’s financial strategy and policies
- be an active advocate for the School’s aims, ethos and vision
- maintaining the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers on Sage
- maintain operational goals, aligned to the school’s strategic planning
- supporting the Finance Manager in maintaining the monthly management accounts, including income and expenditure, cash flow and balance sheet
- assisting in undertaking the year end accounting processes as required by the Finance Manager
- work calmly under pressure, determining and prioritising workload to adhere to tight deadlines
Requirements
- fully or part-qualified, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- experience with FMS & SIMS
- excellent organisational skills
- attention to detail
- excellent digital skills, including experience of maintaining an accounting system and spreadsheets
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- excellent time management skills
- ability to take initiative and work independently
