Responsibility
- responsible for regular stock control and supervising deliveries of stock
- ensure hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard
- maintain necessary kitchen procedures and record as required by the nursery
- follow our own kitchen procedures and environmental health procedures
- responsibility for maintaining a safe, clean and healthy kitchen environment and preparing and serving nutritional balanced meals to under 5's including all dietary requirements in accordance with the nursery's nutritional guidance
- level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene preferred. Training can be sought if Food Hygiene required
- candidate will be enrolled on Pediatric First Aid training if they do not hold this qualification
- completion of all required documentation, keeping accurate records in line with Environmental Health requirements. An awareness of food allergies and safety issues
