Responsibility

  • we are currently recruiting for an individual to join the accounts teams of a single site Builders Merchants as Credit Controller
  • you will also support the team with a number of other general bookkeeping activities
  • in this role, you will be working with the Finance Manager, accounts payable clerk, and the Managing Director to ensure that customers pay in a timely manner and that their queries are resolved quickly
  • supporting the daily bank reconciliations
  • taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing
  • supporting AP Clerk with purchase ledger
  • supporting Team within Office
  • management of invoice discounting facility

Requirements

  • experience of credit control and other general accounts duties
  • experience with Sage 50
  • understanding of accounting processes
  • some accounting training
  • ability to work individually and with team
  • accounting: 1 year
  • bookkeeping: 1 year
