Responsibility
- supports achieving and exceeding the European territory sales forecast and budget
- assists in hosting potential customers at the applicable Coating Centre
- learns, uses and maintains SCS’s lead management system, Opportunity Tracking Database , including quotations and other related technical documentation
- adheres to plant and corporate safety policies
- participates in initial screening of incoming sales leads received by phone, email, tradeshows, etc. Helps identify applicable contacts at targeted customers
- follows guidelines in Company Vehicle Use Policy
- qualifies, packages and then uploads new opportunity leads for hand off to the TSMs
- supports content for reports, business correspondence and sales updates to executive staff
Education
- A recognised technical qualification
- A time served apprenticeship in a technical subject such as electronics or mechatronics
- A degree in a technical, business or marketing subject
- ideally, two or more years of related work experience in a Sales or Marketing capacity, preferably in a technical environment

- ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers, managers, customers and the general public
- read and interpret technical drawings at a basic level
- knowledge/experience in new product application development
- must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- must be able to field customer questions and serve as a customer liaison
- manages resources and multiple priorities efficiently
