Responsibility
- fabricate and weld various metal components according to specifications and blueprints
- use forklifts and other machinery to transport materials and equipment
- follow all relevant codes, standards, and safety procedures
- build and assemble metal structures
- conduct machining operations to shape and finish metal parts
Requirements
- proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
- excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
