business analyst
Responsibility
- eliciting and defining high quality requirements for the development team to deliver user stories
- testing the outputs from the development team, to ensure they meet the requirements and quality criteria specified
- engaging with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements
- working within an Agile development team and being proactive in evolving the teams agile processes
- working alongside the developers to support the delivery of user stories
- answering questions and unblocking impediments
- the core role of the BA is to support the development team by eliciting, defining and testing of business requirements to further evolve the IT systems
- the BA will work alongside the development team as part of an Agile delivery team ensuring that all work carried out is properly defined and ready for the team to work on, right through from inception to delivery and acceptance from the users
Requirements
- three years or more of demonstrated ability as a Business Analyst
- strong and demonstrable understanding of project delivery frameworks
- playing an integral part in the delivery of software projects from inception to post go live
- delivery of complex projects working in cross functional teams
- working with teams that use Agile project delivery methods
