receptionist

  • receptionist

Responsibility

  • answer the phone and enter appointments onto a computerised booking system
  • set up new patients on booking system and maintain filing systems
  • use social media to advertise available appointmnts and inform patients of our services
  • welcome patients and keep the reception and other areas clean, tidy and well stocked
  • take cash and card payments and enter these against computerised bookings. Listing and totalling daily receipts on Excel
  • sterilise instruments as required
  • carry out weekly stock take and record clinical sundries and orthotics on Excel
  • record sundy receipts on Excel, reconcile these and regular supplier invoices to bank statements and file of same

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • the practice is seeking a part time Clinical Receptionist to assist the podiatrists and welcome patients into the clinic
