Responsibility
- applicants must be registered with the GDC as a Dental Nurse
- applicants should be confident in working both independently in surgery and reception and also as part of the dental team
- our dental software is Software of Excellence Exact, good basic IT skills with experience of dental software required
- assist the dentist during dental procedures
- good rates of pay. Salary to be agreed depending on qualifications and experience
- prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- take and develop dental x-rays
- GDC registration paid
Requirements
- previous experience as a dental nurse or dental assistant is preferred
- knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- experience of dental record software
- good dexterity and co-ordination
- familiarity with medical coding and billing practices is a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- good organisational skills
- ability to work under pressure
