Responsibility
reporting directly to the UK Operations Director, the Facilities Manager will coordinate daily upkeep and building maintenance
duties and Responsibilities
what you'll do –
conduct basic facility maintenance and conduct regular facility inspections
ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
plan and manage facility central services such as reception, building security, cleaning, catering waste disposal and parking
the Facilities Manager has full responsibility for overseeing all compliance issues related to building occupancy, building agreements and infrastructure and need to assure the effective functioning of the site to provide a safe and efficient working environment for employees, contractors and visitors
plan and set up events for company functions and meetings
Requirements
must have at least 5 years’ experience working as a Facilities and/or Maintenance / Factory Manager
proven experience in medium/large scale infrastructure projects such a s fit outs, office moves
proven experience managing contractors
excellent stakeholder management experience
must have previous work experience with Security Systems and badges, computerized software controls for HVAC system adjustment
must have supervisory experience
must be able to plan and organise a team and workload
must be able to communicate, negotiate, analyse problems and make decisions
