- effective use of Siemens Solid Edge CAD systems 2&3D in the creation and checking of General Arrangement and detail manufacturing drawings
- applying a sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles i.e. associated tolerancing, surface finish requirements and manufacturing techniques
- undertake model making evaluating stress and deformation
- utilise Parametric modelling to support in design automation of existing and new product lines
- ability to interpret customer specifications & make decisions based on the available technical information
- design with consideration to the aesthetics, materials, and functionality of components
- we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and creative CAD Design Engineer to join our team who are responsible for delivering engineered to order dry gas seal designs for our turbo machinery customers within global energy industries
