Responsibility
- assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the necessary instruments and materials
- sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- develop dental x-rays
- prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure
- provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- maintain accurate patient records
- schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- perform basic administrative and receptionist tasks as needed
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- completion of an accredited Dental Nurse program or certification is preferred
- A minimum of 6-months previous experience as a Dental Nurse is a plus
- knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- ability to work well in a team environment
