Requirements
- post graduate diploma/ MSc in Physician Associate studies
- undergraduate degree
- member of the Faculty of Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register
Responsibility
- they will also support the delivery of care and ward rounds for the Primary Care Networks aligned Care Homes, liaising with GP colleagues and playing a pivotal role in the set up and attendance of MDTs for vulnerable and frail patients
- work directly with members of the practice primary health care team and support integrated patient centred care through appropriate working with wider primary care / social care networks
- pro-actively promote the role of the PA within the practice and externally to key stakeholders and agencies
- comply at all times with the practice health and safety policies by following agreed safe working procedures and reporting incidents using the organisations Incident Reporting System
- fully document all aspects of patient care and complete all required paperwork for legal and administrative purposes in accordance with relevant standards
- ensure that all practice policies are fully implemented
- comply with the Data Protection Act and the Access to Health Records Act
- all staff must participate in safeguarding training appropriate to their role
