Requirements

  • ● Have knowledge of accounting and payroll duties including end-to-end payroll, reconciliations, escalating and handling a variety of queries
  • ● Be an engaging and confident individual with strong communication skills, as you will be liaising with business owners
  • ● Be an individual with a high attention to detail, who can use Excel to analyse datasets

Responsibility

  • ● Assist with the maternity and paternity leave calculations
  • ● To assist with the process of pay increases
  • ● Use payroll software efficiently, including import/exports and reports
  • ● Processing all types of manual payroll calculations, including pro rata salary calculations & salary sacrifice schemes
  • ● Apply knowledge of statutory payments, pension schemes, including AE process and pension upload to pension providers website
  • ● To assist with the process of monthly payroll amendments including starters, leavers, contract changes, variable payments including hourly/expenses and earnings advances
  • ● Processing pension declaration and ensuring they are up to date
  • ● Working with NEST, NOW Pensions, Royal London, and True Potential
