Responsibility
- develop and implement a high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum that promotes children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- hire, train, supervise, and evaluate a team of childcare professionals, including teachers, assistants, and administrative staff
- maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that meets all health and safety standards and regulations
- develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and families, and ensure effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and needs
- manage the nursery's budget and financial operations, including billing, accounts payable, and payroll
- maintain accurate records and reports, including children's attendance, progress, and health records, staff schedules, and regulatory compliance documentation
- ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain appropriate documentation and reporting
- plan and coordinate special events and activities, including parent-teacher conferences, family events, and community outreach activities
Requirements
- minimum Level 4 Childcare
- at least 2 years of experience in childcare or leadership role in a childcare setting
- strong knowledge of child development, early childhood education, and curriculum development
- excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- ability to motivate and manage a team of childcare professionals
- strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
