SMART KIDS CHILDCARE is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • reports to the Childcare Practice Manager as their Line Manager
  • draw up and to supervise the daily programme of nursery activities and events
  • ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident forms
  • liaise with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children’s progress and encourage parent involvement
  • contribute to and implement all nursery policies and procedures especially those on Child Protection, Equal Opportunities and Special Needs
  • take responsibility for drawing up short, medium & long-term curriculum plans which ensure that each child is working towards desirable learning outcomes; to monitor the effectiveness of the nursery curriculum
  • implement systems of observation and record keeping so that children’s attainment and progress are effectively and regularly assessed; monitor the effectiveness of assessment procedures
  • take on the role/duties of the Childcare Practice Manager in their absence
