Responsibility
- work closely with one other staff member in our 0-2 year old's room
- develop relationships with parents/carers and communicate with them on a daily basis
- work as a key worker for a designated group of children

- assist the team in providing high quality childcare, by providing inspiration to children through exciting activities in all areas of learning
- our passion is to provide our children with the opportunities and experiences to learn about the world around them in a hands on way
- ability to complete children’s daily diaries, track and assess their development and plan activities for their individual needs
- we have a large focus on outdoor learning and regularly sing our way to the local woods or pond and venture out to local areas in the countryside

- the role will involve you being responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for children whilst educating them and encouraging them to reach their full potential
- with small numbers we are able to go out regularly in our nursery mini bus, to music groups, soft play centres, garden centres, farms and many more wonderful places
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or above
- A love of the outdoors
- good team work and interpersonal skills

- experience of working with the early years age group
- paediatric first aid would be ideal but not essential

- we are looking for someone to start at the beginning of September to cover maternity leave. The role will be for approximately one year and there may be the possibility of a permanent position at the end of this period
