Responsibility
- you will require an NVQ 3 or equivalent as a minimum, with some managerial experience in supporting staff
- at least n2 years experience of supporting people and working in the care sector
- due to expansion and redirection We are looking for a care coordinator/ teamleader to support the homes manager in coordinating and managing the smooth running of the home
- we support older adults who have LD/MH issues and may display different types of behaviours to manage their day to day lives as independently as possible
- you would work a set shift pattern, offer direction to staff, providing effective supervision and supporting the manager to ensure a high quality service is provided for all
- you will require excellent communication skills and have a clear understanding of mental health and its management, learning Disability experience would be a bonus
- A working history of managing behaviours that challenge and older adults would also be ideal to be able to provide the best support we require
- staff are offered a comprehensive induction and a high standard of training in order to ensure that they have all the skills and attributes that are required to meet all needs presented to them
