fabricator welder
Responsibility
- fabrication & Assembly: Fabricate metal components by cutting, bending, and welding according to blueprints and technical specifications
- material Expertise: Work with a range of metals, including but not limited to, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper
- tools & Equipment: Operate machinery such as shears, saws, brake presses, drills, grinders, and welding equipment
- collaboration: Work closely with engineers, welders, and other team members to complete projects on schedule
- inspection & Maintenance: Inspect finished products for quality and perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- health & Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication and/or welding essential
- technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- welding Experience: Experience in MIG and TIG welding
- tools & Techniques: Skilled in operating metalworking machinery, such as cutting, grinding, and bending equipment
