Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- setup welding systems
- weld and fabricate various small to large scale structures and assemblies
- perform work according to standard operating procedures
- continuously improve welding operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes
- read engineering drawings and specifications to plan and execute welding operations
- assist with general assembly of aerospace components to be integrated into our vehicles
- coordinate with Head of Operations on manufacturing timelines and implementation
- collaborate with the design team to ensure manufacturability of welded components
Requirements
- valid passport, including right to work in the UK
- extensive knowledge in TIG welding of Inconel
- full driving license is preferred
- extensive knowlege in TIG welding of Inconel
- highly proficient in TIG welding of Stainless Steel and Aluminum
- experience with automated and rotary welding systems
- highly proficient in TIG welding of Stainless Steel and Aluminium
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in fabrication and welding engineering
