Office Manager Leicester
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.28 days holiday allowance to include statutory public holidays. Holiday year starts on 1 April in each year. We close the office at Eid and also at Christmas and these days must be taken as part of the entitlement.Responsibilities- Organise and supervise law firm office to ensure business runs smoothly and client needs are serviced, maintaining an attractive and inviting environment where clients and staff feel welcomed, respected and valued- Organise office procedures with creativity and flexibility ensuring client needs are met; answer phone, reply to emails- Line manager responsibility for managing, hiring, and onboarding administrative staff, motivating and training staff to meet agreed objectives- Manage negotiations with all office suppliers looking for effectiveness and efficiency. Effective processing of incoming invoices, ensuring payment on time or challenge as appropriate.- Deal effectively with Legal Aid Agency requirements ensuring that all administrative matters in running the contract are respected and time limits are met-Responsible for co-ordination and budgeting of marketing activity- Responsible for facilities management – cleaning, catering, repairs.- Such other duties as the Managing Director may reasonably allocate from time to timeJob requirementsMinimum 6 months experience in a customer-facing role and ideally in an office environment - please note there is no element of remote workEffective communication, persuasion and organisational skillsStrong problem-solving ability with tact and judgementGood knowledge of MS Office software. Training will be given on specialist legal applicationsGood time management and prioritisation skillsHonesty and integrityLawfully entitled to work in the United KingdomPlease
