Responsibility
- lead and manage the day to day activities of the delivery team
- lead the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies across all programmes
- ensure that programme delivery takes all aspects of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework on board
- act as organisation lead for Ofsted
- lead on Quality Assurance and Peer Review
- this includes the production of a SAR and QIP relating to the quality of education ensuring that teaching, learning and assessment incorporates the ( - and meets the standards set out in the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework
- develop a full range of relevant key performance indicators and implement an effective system for reporting progress against these
- monitor the implementation of the organisations Quality Improvement Plan’s and focused mini QIP’s providing regular updates to SLT and board of trustees
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality role in FE
- hold assessor, verifier and teaching qualifications
- experience of OfSTED inspection process, preferably as nominee
- must have knowledge of ESFA funding and paperwork completion
- understand the full quality cycle and impact on teaching and learning
- up to date knowledge of the EIF and inspection requirements
- good IT skills and a knowledge of BUD software platform would be desirable
- established relationships with Awarding Bodies and understand their requirements for compliance
