SKILLS COACH is looking for employees for positions:
football coach
Responsibility
- plan and deliver a range of high-quality PE & Football lessons to children of varying ages
- plan, deliver and manage a partner football club youth team for training on Saturdays and competitive matches on Sundays
- ensure the Health & Safety policies & procedures are followed at all times following child protection policy and guidelines
- consistently motivate and inspire young people to be active and learn through fun engaging sessions
- attend and contribute to regular coach CPD events
- communicate effectively with schools and senior management as an advocate for SkillsCoach
- deliver and co-ordinate PE to all children across our partner schools, coaching at after school clubs, developing community links and preparing and taking children to competitions
Requirements
- should have a passion and previous experience to work with and inspire children & young people
- no Criminal Convictions and be able to successfully take a DBS criminal records check
- have worked in a school environment and have an understanding of the school/education sector
- rticulate themselves in a professional well-presented and professional manner at all times
- hold a coaching or equivalent qualification for the delivery of sport and physical activity to children – Level 2 or above is preferred – For example FA Level 2
