Responsibility
- to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to manage the workflow for our client’s taxes
- to accurately and efficiently process client paperwork to ensure timely preparation and filing of VAT returns, Tax Returns and Accounts
- to prepare Sole Trader & Partnership Accounts and associated Tax Returns
- to prepare Limited Company Accounts and associated Tax Returns
- to assist in the preparation of Capital Gains Computations
- to assist in the preparation of Payroll
- to manage and engage with a portfolio of clients to ensure excellent customer services
- to actively contribute to the team @ SJO ensuring client focus in every aspect of your work
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- previous experience of running computerised payroll
- AAT/ATI qualification or equivalent or be Part Qualified Recognised Professional Accountancy Body
- you will have a minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience ideally in a practice environment
- you will have experience of computerised accounts packages e.g Quickbooks, Xero, Sage
- accounting: 3 years
- third level qualification min 2:1 desirable but not essential or equivalent professional qualification
