Responsibility
- plan and deliver dance lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- teach a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, modern and contemporary
- create choreography for performances and competitions
- provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their technique and performance skills
- maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
- communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events
- collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate performances and events
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- strong knowledge and proficiency in multiple dance styles
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
- patience, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching dance
- previous experience as a dance instructor or professional dancer preferred. But happy to chat to first time teachers looking for their first teaching job
