Responsibility

  • calculating accurate wages, including bonuses, salary increases and overtime
  • calculating tax, national insurance deductions and pension contributions
  • calculating statutory payments, such as SMP, SSP, SPP etc. Issuing of relevant tax forms
  • process new documentation for starters and leavers
  • handle and respond to discrepancies and queries relating to payroll

Requirements

  • excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • A –Levels or equivalent
  • good timekeeping and an ability to meet strict deadlines
  • organised, logical and methodical approach
  • ability to remain calm under pressure
  • eligibility to work in the UK
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy
