Responsibility
- review and evolve our design process in keeping with relevant industry standards
- accurately reviewing site surveys with an eye for detail, carrying out Solar PV designs using industry design tools and software
- ensure productivity of other Solar PV Designers, eventually training new staff and overseeing them
- assisting and upskilling our current set of surveyors in solar PV roof layouts
- help to build our in house product literature on best practise in Solar PV Design and electrical equipment
- develop an understanding of Solar across the wider compliance/operations team
- assist in creating/delivering training across the business in Solar best practise
- audit and assess the accuracy of the designs being conducted by the team, helping to develop an automated response structure as it evolves
Requirements
- ideally this position would suit an electrician or someone with a background in electrical engineering or design and compliance, design or Solar PV design or previous installation experience would be beneficial
