Responsibility
develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction
conduct regular hands-on inspections, tests, and audits of products, and materials to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with specifications
collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
develop, monitor, and analyse quality performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
lead and facilitate problem-solving activities, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis to prevent recurrence of quality issues
drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and implementing process enhancements
manage and maintain the documentation of quality control procedures, inspection reports, and quality records
provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
Requirements
minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing/assembly environment
strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques
hands-on experience with quality inspection, testing, and auditing
knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
proficient in using quality control software and tools
