Responsibility
- develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product conformity and customer satisfaction
- conduct regular hands-on inspections, tests, and audits of products, and materials to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with specifications
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- develop, monitor, and analyse quality performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- lead and facilitate problem-solving activities, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis to prevent recurrence of quality issues
- drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and implementing process enhancements
- manage and maintain the documentation of quality control procedures, inspection reports, and quality records
- provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices
Requirements
- minimum 7 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing/assembly environment
- strong understanding of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques
- hands-on experience with quality inspection, testing, and auditing
- knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
- effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
- detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- proficient in using quality control software and tools
- quality: 7 years
