Requirements
minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience in an accounts environment is essential. AAT or equivalent qualifications are an advantage
excellent organisation skills, numerical accuracy and attention to detail
flexible and positive team player
ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload
effective communication skills, both written and oral
we provide a range of design, advisory and other consultancy services across the property and construction industry
the job is mainly office based but we are open to discussion regarding some remote working hours if required

Responsibility
all aspects of Accounts Payable including checking and coding invoices; supplier payments, reconciliations, problem solving and payments planning
processing of staff expenses
compilation of payroll information for submission to external payroll provider
quarterly VAT submissions
bank reconciliations
maintaining accurate and timely accounting information on Sage 50 and on our project costing system
assist the business with day-to-day office administration e.g. purchase of consumables, arranging maintenance of office equipment, organisation of training, etc
support the directors and finance team on a wide range of ad hoc bookkeeping and office administration duties
