Responsibility

  • interfacing to 3rd party equipment for integration using Sierra CP software and C#
  • knowledge of protocols such as Ethernet, Serial, Ethercat, CAN, AK protocol is useful
  • developing automation sequences using standard Sierra CP software editor tools
  • this role is for engineers who like the challenge of developing and implementing complex automation, mechatronic and data acquisition systems for turnkey projects
  • create test and acceptance procedures
  • no two projects are the same and the engineer will find great job satisfaction in delivering solutions in cutting edge automotive and industrial environments
  • determining the best way to implement bespoke automation and control process for the application using the Sierra CP software and DACS from customer supplied requirements and specifications
  • creating custom system functionality based on customer requirements
