Responsibility
- the successful candidate will join a welcoming and close-knit team who are focused on delivering high quality houses
- the role is full time and will require the candidate to be office-based five days a week
- the candidate will need to be enthusiastic, willing to be flexible with their work duties and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- they will work with the production director, technical manager and quantity surveyor on a day-to-day basis, as well as the various site managers
- review and negotiate credit limits with existing suppliers as well as apply for credit with new suppliers
- provide budgets and prices during the project for customer variations
- attending and contributing to project site meetings
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- display excellent and confident communication and negotiation skills
- full and clean driving license
- entitlement to work in the UK
- buying: 2 years
- educated to Level 6 in a construction-related qualification
- have a minimum of two years’ experience purchasing materials for a house builder
