Education

  • degree level education in fashion or related subject
  • good knowledge of garment construction, fabrication and the manufacturing process

Responsibility

  • assisting on both men’s and women’s inline and SMU apparel programmes
  • ensuring sample development remains on spec and within timeline
  • ensuring garment fit, embellishments, trims and packaging all meet technical requirements
  • working closely with the internal sales team to provide regular, concise and timely communication to ensure all customer requirements are met
  • creating and updating tech packs, producing CAD illustrations, technical drawings and graded garment size specifications
  • keeping detailed records of and sealing samples
  • attending weekly team meetings
  • sharing best practice with colleagues

Requirements

  • passionate about skateboarding, and fashion with strong knowledge of current market trends
  • portfolio evidence of recently undertaken fashion design or related projects
  • able to take direction and maintain excellent communication at all times
  • work well in a close team environment, while also having the self-motivation to work independently
  • well organised, with the ability to plan and prioritise workload to ensure successful task completion
  • high degree of attention to detail
