Responsibility

  • shawpak are a leading manufacturer of a unique range of packaging equipment for medical devices, including rotary thermoforming machinery, rigid blister making equipment and pouch machinery
  • to create and maintain the relevant test protocols and processes ensuring testing is carried out in a uniform and repeatable way
  • built in the UK at our state-of-the-art engineering facility in Derby, every care has been taken to ensure the machines are built to the highest quality
  • to maintain the test departments schedule of works to ensure testing is carried out in line with the required machine deadlines
  • shawpak are looking for a Machine Test Manager to join the team on a permanent basis to oversee the test department to ensure all deadlines are met, machines are shipped against customer specification and to drive through efficiencies on time and cost to complete
  • to complete final testing and set up of machinery including the mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems on the machines
  • to perform calibration of machines and tooling and complete documentation of results
  • test machinery in line with the companys quality and Health & Safety requirements
