ceiling fixer
Responsibility
- install ceilings and partitions, compete demolition and carpentry works ensuring all work meets safety standards
- build and assemble structures using wood, metal, and other materials
- complex ceiling and partition setting out utilising various components as necessary for repairs or new installations
- execute carpentry tasks, including Kitchens and doors
- read and interpret drawings to understand requirements
- utilise hand tools effectively for various tasks, ensuring precision and safety
- occasionally carry out other construction task and help out on- site
- collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete larger projects
Requirements
- proficient in building, ceiling and dry lining systems, reading drawings, and using hand and power tools tools
- an eye for detail in finishing work
- knowledge of safe techniques and practices
- experience in plastering and carpentry is highly desirable
- excellent problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
- drylining: 1 year
