Responsibility
oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to ensure the financial stability and success of the organization
develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
manage the day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management
managing finance team
prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts for internal stakeholders and external partners
streamlining the accounting processes
development and production of key financial reports
conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency
Education
bachelor's
Requirements
bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting designation is highly desirable
proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within the social care or non-profit sector
strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting
proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills
excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a finance team
high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
