  • the candidate will act as the main point of contact for staff and volunteers plus internal and external stakeholder liaison
  • you must have proven experience in commercial marketing, ideally in the hospitality and/or tourism sectors
  • A good understanding and experience of Social Media is also critical
  • experience of dealing with volunteers and/or knowledge of the charity sector is an advantage but not essential
  • the candidate will need to have good social skills, a positive 'can do' attitude and not be phased by challenges

Responsibility

  • the Settle Carlisle Railway Development Company -The community Rail Partnership handling external stakeholder relations
  • the Friends of the Settle & Carlisle Railway - a membership and volunteer organisation
  • the role will involve working closely with all three organisations to promote the combined commercial offerings
