Responsibility
- manage whole stack infrastructure from databases to edge proxies and firewalls
- migrate customer applications from legacy infrastructure onto new platforms
- in this role, you will need to possess good foundational knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Virtualisation, and Container Orchestration
- build and maintain deployment tools and solutions across our hosting platforms
- troubleshoot issues that arise during testing, and in our production systems
- you should be a detail-oriented and skilled problem-solver, capable of helping us to streamline our processes, and automating them where applicable
- automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy, and in compliance with our security requirements
- design, document, and develop new infrastructure features
Requirements
- experience with both Linux/Unix and Windows administration
- experience managing On-Premises Enterprise level Compute and Storage platforms
- experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash
- experience with Public and Private Cloud services, AWS, Azure, GCP
- meaningful experience with related tools including Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, AWS, EKS, SSH, Git, etc
- experience working with Ansible for application deployment and configuration
- experience supporting databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, and possibly Elasticsearch
- staying current with industry trends, IT operations, and industry best practices, and identifying technologies which could be of benefit
