Responsibility
- this role will provide manufacturing support, during commissioning and qualification, in the preparation of manufacturing instructions, processes and procedures
- thereby achieving the production schedule and requirements of the F&B area
- works in a safe manner in compliance with all pertinent UK legislation, Seqirus mandatory policies, guidelines and site procedures
- in order that the production schedule and requirements of the F&B area are met
- under direct supervision, assists with the setup and operation of production equipment
- working under the Team Leader, the Process Technician is responsible for the manufacturing processes of inspection and packing at Seqirus Liverpool by the executing manufacturing operations in accordance with written procedures
- reporting to the Process Coordinator, the role of the Process Technician is to provide the production skills sets necessary to complete sterile filling processing operations to achieve the production schedule in a safe, cGMP compliant, and cost-effective manner
- carries out basic area cleaning as required to maintain EM, cGMP and HSE standards in the F&B area
Requirements
- previous experience in inspection or packaging of aseptic products held within a cold chain preferred
- good personal qualities and interpersonal skills such as concern for standards, integrity, communication, and discretion
- basic computer skills
- competent in the daily use of computer systems, e.g., SAP & GLIMS
- relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology sterile production. Preference given to candidates with technical training in a biotech program
- demonstrated knowledge of cGMP
- basic mechanical aptitude or knowledge of electronic/mechanical equipment
- skilled worker with relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology sterile production. Preference given to candidates with technical training in a biotech program
Education
- numerate, literate, and competent in automated transaction skills
- competent in cGMP and sterile product production operations in Biotech or Pharma industry
