Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
- management of company ledger
- maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions
- balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
- managing invoices & payments
- liaising with tenants, landlords, suppliers, and banking contacts
- working closely with accountants to prepare year-end accounts and VAT returns where applicable
- preparing schedules, statements, and reports as requested
Requirements
- degree level education ideally in accounting or finance
- preference will be given to candidates with experience in real estate and/or fund accounting
- 2-5 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role
- extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
- strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
- motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team
