Responsibility
- our London office deals with the receiving and sorting of books in bulk from charities and house clearances
- staff scan through the books with an app that tells us if there is individual value
- some books are then listed on site, while most are sent to our Yorkshire warehouse to be listed and stored
- sell Books Ltd is looking for an talented and enthusiastic self-starter to take over the running of our London office and warehouse
- you'll be in charge of a team of staff, as well as handling supplier relations, admin, and spending at least half of the time working with books, researching what's worth selling and bundling others
- the books for bundles are then either sorted into author or category lots unless damaged
- the London office is also the base for a team of four book dealers who go out and purchase good books directly and bring them back to the London office to be listed
- and general HR, motivation and staff retention/hiring duties
