we cover the entire product development and life cycle - from design, simulation, software and hardware development, through testing and validation, homologation and commissioning, to vehicle and system maintenance
carry out fault finding and investigate intermittent faults on vehicles either on depot or in service
carry out Testing & Re-Commissioning activities on vehicles and trains in accordance with pre-written test and commissioning procedures
review and rectify test specifications and documentation for functional tests
provide technical support to the depot teams in the provision of fault-finding expertise and assistance with train repair and train maintenance
Requirements
level 4 NVQ Qualifications
2 years plus of fault finding, testing, commissioning or maintenance experience
2 years plus of applying the above to rolling stock vehicles
ability to work in a team
able to work both day and night shifts where required
