Responsibility
- company Description
- undertake test runs to assist in fault finding and resolution of faults, in particular the close-out of repeat failures
- positioning of fault data into shared drive facility
- we cover the entire product development and life cycle - from design, simulation, software and hardware development, through testing and validation, homologation and commissioning, to vehicle and system maintenance
- carry out fault finding and investigate intermittent faults on vehicles either on depot or in service
- carry out Testing & Re-Commissioning activities on vehicles and trains in accordance with pre-written test and commissioning procedures
- review and rectify test specifications and documentation for functional tests
- provide technical support to the depot teams in the provision of fault-finding expertise and assistance with train repair and train maintenance
Requirements
- level 4 NVQ Qualifications
- 2 years plus of fault finding, testing, commissioning or maintenance experience
- 2 years plus of applying the above to rolling stock vehicles
- ability to work in a team
- able to work both day and night shifts where required
- additional Information
- 6 month fixed term or inside IR35 contract
- salary/rate – depending on experience
