Responsibility

  • managing all finance and accounting operations
  • managing a team of 2 people
  • preparing and publishing timely monthly financial management accounts
  • managing the month-end and year-end close process
  • working closely with production/operations to ensure accurate flow of financial data
  • report back to local management and Group management on a monthly basis
  • liaising with the auditors and managing the audit process
  • coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts

Requirements

  • proven working experience within a manufacturing environment as a Finance Manager/Controller, or something similar
  • knowledge of Aptean Unity ERP software which integrates and manages manufacturing and financial systems would be advantageous
  • preferably ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • sage payroll experience
  • excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • flexible work ethic
  • finance: 5 years
