managing the day to day running of the service
support the Registered Manager to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with Scott values and policies and procedures
support the cost-effective running of the service by minimising unnecessary expenditure and identifying and implementing more efficient ways of working
support the Registered Manager to ensure that the service meets or exceeds the standards set by regulatory bodies including CQC, NICE, local authority specifications and relevant legislation and regulation
support the Registered Manager to ensure that all staff acquire and maintain appropriate training as required by the role, the company’s policies and procedures, the CQC and the relevant commissioning authority service specification
ensure the communication requirements for individual Service Users are identified and met
champion Service User’s rights and equality at all times
to support the Team Leaders to ensure that care plans are developed with the input of the Service Users, appropriate professionals and services user’s families, and ensure that these care plans are regularly reviewed and continue to meet the needs of the Service User
Requirements
NVQ or diploma in health and social care or above

Responsibility
setting overall fundraising and marketing strategy for Scotts, the DS and external Facilities hire
driving fundraising, including identifying companies, trusts and foundations to whom applications can be made and the associated bid writing
creating marketing material
developing plans and marketing materials for facilities hire, and lead efforts to optimise revenues
any other duties as directed by the CEO
supporting efforts to expand Day Services through identifying ‘feeder’ organisations for service users and working with the Manager, DS Skills and Activities in delivering presentations; managing relationships and providing feedback to them
working at all times in accordance with, and support, the policies and procedures of SPT
assuming responsibility for the Scotts website to ensure that it is visually appealing; well structured and has high quality and timely content covering all Scott’s activities for all stakeholders
Requirements
ensure events – both internal and external – have cohesion and relevance, are well-planned, well-communicated and well-attended
continually review community fundraising activities – Friends of Scotts, sponsored events, local organisations, etc - and seek new sources of income
fundraising: 1 year
leading SPT’s engagement with businesses, chambers of commerce, non-profits such as Lions Clubs, schools, town events, local media, etc for purposes including fundraising, volunteer programmes, days of service

additional ‘sleep-in’ shifts available paid at an additional flat rate of £85.50 per night

our aim is to support our Service Users to develop their skills, form friendships, maintain family bonds and lead fulfilled and joyful lives
the Care Certificate or a higher social care qualification is desirable
training can be arranged if necessary
about Scotts Project Trust: We are a small provider located on the outskirts of Tonbridge, providing support for 15 Service Users in a homely setting
experience & Qualifications: Previous experience is highly desirable, but enthusiastic and caring individuals without previous experience may be considered
