Responsibility

  • lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the football centre, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience
  • oversee the scheduling of facility bookings, league matches, and events, optimizing facility utilisation and revenue generation
  • manage and motivate a diverse team to create a positive and collaborative work environment
  • maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the centre, paying attention to every detail
  • manage and develop our busy café, overseeing inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to maintain efficient operations
  • develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain customers, including promotional campaigns and community engagement initiatives
  • continuously evaluate and enhance the customer journey, seeking opportunities for improvement and customer satisfaction
  • monitor and analyse financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, taking corrective actions when necessary

Requirements

  • proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the sports or leisure industry
  • A passion for football and a solid understanding of the sport
  • strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional customer service
  • excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • proactive and positive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and taking initiatives
  • outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • financial acumen and the ability to analyse data, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the football centre
