- ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularly, and adhered to by all
- communicate with impartiality and consistency respecting parent/carers’ expectations and seek guidance from management if in doubt
- ensure daily that all resources, equipment, and environments are safe and suited for children’s age and stage
- provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures
- ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff:child ratios
Requirements
- full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification – essential
- over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years – desirable
- knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – desirable
- nursery: 1 year
- childcare: 1 year
