Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- 3D drawing in Rhino is also advantageous
- model making: 3 years
- the ideal candidate will have previous experience creating scale models and a good understanding of the processes required including 3D printing, laser cutting, sanding, finishing, spray painting and reading 2D and 3D plans
- at SMW we utilise 3D printers, CNC milling, and other technology to create each scale model to a high standard; the person we are looking for will enjoy a hands-on role, have a meticulous eye for detail, and be driven to create a high finish model
- the candidate will be responsible for producing high-specification components for models either individually, or as part of a team working on sections that will come together in a seamless and functional manner
